    The Mount Royal Tavern’s ceiling is a replica of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. On its walls are works by artists from Baltimore and the three nearby schools of art.     Feast of Unusual Proteins

    Join the Parrs, Marsh and Paul families for a unique sampling of unusual proteins. Grilled, stewed and braised, we will feast on a meals that could be mammal, reptile, insect, or plant based. Side dishes will consist of unusual greens (dandelion) and desserts will be not the run of the mill choices, either (strawberry/rhubarb pie). Be brave and try something “different”! Open to all.     Visit and operate David Vaughn’s nationally-known O-Scale model railroad, as featured in Great Model Railroads 2016. Layout is 18′ wide by 90′ long, multi-level and full-scale. Start the evening with a delicious, railroad-themed dinner with wine. Layout is located in basement and is not handicapped-accessible. Adults only.     Parents’ Night Out

    Enjoy food and drink in the company of other parents (and guardians) while your kids (age 10 and younger) are fed and cared for nearby by three highly qualified, experienced YRUU sitters at a host’s home 1/4 mile away. We’ll be providing alcoholic (and non) drinks and hearty hors d’oeuvres to the adults in a relaxed atmosphere, and a separate meal and activities for the kids. We will accommodate dietary restrictions by request (and label carefully), and will ask you to provide those restrictions when we send email prior to the event. IMPORTANT: Each slot is for one child and one adult; buyers can add an additional adult for $30.

    “Irasshaimase!” Come on in to the Paul-Reiser Ramen shop! Mostly known as a cheap instant-noodle, junk food staple, freshly made ramen is now a sought after restaurant experience made famous in the U.S. by the likes of David Chang’s Momofuku Ko. The Paul-Reiser version offers a fun taste of how good and satisfying a steaming bowl of homemade ramen can be. We’ll offer a choice of meat based or vegetarian broths with a variety of toppings and of course hearty noodles. We’ll also serve a variety of Japanese sodas, tea, beer and sake along with appetizers when you arrive. Take home recipes! Vegetarian options, vegan may also apply. Their first Thai dinner as an auction item was in 1995 and they soon joined up with the Asian Dinner gang and cooked for that for many years. Enjoy appetizers, soups, main courses and dessert.
