    Antique Bed with Hand-Carved Headboard

    Betty’s grandfather made this bed for her mother around 1912 and the headboard has lovely hand-carved wooden pieces. The mattress which has been encased in a plastic zipped bag for decades is not a standard size (58″ x 45″) but twin bed sheets fit it. If not used as a bed, the headboard and footboard could be used with a modern size twin bed. Or perhaps as art pieces!! . Scheduling details: Buyer must arrange pick up time.

    Iris in Black and White by Lowell Nesbitt

Lowell Nesbitt (1935-1993) was an American painter and printmaker best known for his large scale depictions of flowers, isolating them from space and pressing them against a monochromatic or patterned background such as works of Andy Warhol and James Rosenquist.     Noritake china (Maitland pattern) service for 12, complete (except for one unfortunate teacup). Plates, cups, saucers, serving trays, gravy boat, creamer… you name it. Insert says 93 pieces in all. Still individually wrapped, in two original shipping crates from the early 1950s. Beautiful celadon green rim with gold floral design.
